By the Way, Furna, a Waterloo, Ontario-based vape startup, has launched its new vape called learn what is vaporizer, designed by former BlackBerry execs – aimed at a similar market as the Pax 3.
New dry herb mobile vaporizers seem to hit the industry almost daily and while this can be exciting, it can also be overwhelming having so many options and price points to select from.
Welcome to, my name is Buzz, and that I put together this list to help you to find the finest portable vaporizers in 2021. I have personally tested every vaporizer listed below and set them into categories like best overall, best vapor , etc..
I continually update the best vaporizer classes below to signify the top-rated mobile and handheld vaporizers presently on the market in 2021, in addition to mobile vapes published before 2021.
In addition, I have an entire list of the best desktop vaporizers in 2021 in case you wanted something much more static for home-use.
What are the Finest Portable Vaporizers?
Best Overall Vaporizer
The Crafty vaporizer is the newest addition to the Storz and Bickel dry herb vaporizer merchandise line and an upgraded version of the original Crafty. If I had to select one vaporizer from I have analyzed, it would more than likely be the Crafty or Mighty vaporizers. These vaporizers are dependable, constant, and constantly create great tasting vapor.
The OG Crafty was best known for providing exceptional vapor quality while being simple to use and keep. The newest Crafty Plus took what that I love about the OG and created a few key upgrades, and while it’s not a totally new redesign, the new additions make it that much better.
The biggest complaint with the OG Crafty was battery life. The more recent version Crafty Plus upgraded the capability and tweaked some software to give us a few additional bowls and quicker heat up times.
The brand new Plus Crafty also includes better insulation for more consistent temperatures along with a new increase mode at the very high end of the temperature spectrum.
Last but not least, the new Crafty Plus vape upgraded the guarantee length. You still receive a two-year manufacturer warranty, but you can get an excess year of service, three in total, should you register your device when you buy it.
All in all, the Crafty Plus and Mighty are the 2 vaporizers that I always find myself reaching first. As long as the Crafty includes a charge, I always have it in my pocket or backpack, ready for adventure.
If you’re looking for the 1 quiver do everything type of portable vaporizer, look no further than the Crafty Plus vaporizer. You won’t be disappointed.

The Firefly 2 is a superior “pure convection” portable vaporizer created by Firefly Vapor. The Firefly 2 includes a full temp spectrum which range from 200F to 500F for both dry herbs and concentrates.
I highly suggest checking out my entire review and if you’re looking for the best taste extended in a mobile vaporizer, search no further than the Firefly 2 Plus. The effective heater and quick heat-up times paired with excellent flavor and density create a one of a kind special experience that I think many people will enjoy.
I’ve enjoyed testing the new Firefly 2 Plus out, also it’s fixed everything that has been an issue with the FF2. Increased airflow, consistency, and battery life are just a couple of the updated features.
The Firefly 2 Plus vaporizer includes one replaceable rechargeable battery and charging cradle. It preheats in under 10 seconds and requires under average cleaning/maintenance.
Tips: Adding an excess battery isn’t a bad idea if you plan to take any long multi-day trips, concerts, hikes, etc.. It’s effortless to just swap one in and outside.

The Davinci IQ two is a mobile dry herb vaporizer made by the firm Davinci. The IQ two is an updated version of the original IQ, which made its debut a few decades ago, and in my own opinion, the IQ 2 is one of the very best conduction vaporizers that I’ve tested.
Like the Pax 3 vaporizer, I use the IQ 2 when I’m out biking, hiking, kayaking, etc.. . I would recommend that you don’t lose them at the water (been there done that), but both these vaporizers can handle those “oops” minutes because of the tough outer shells.
My favored update on the new IQ 2 is that the airflow dialup, which allows you to adjust the resistance. Not only is it more free-flowing compared to the OG IQ, but I can even get even bigger hits today, especially when you use it together with the WPA plus a glass piece.
The new IQ 2 accessories make it an excellent vaporizer for micro-dosing but can crank out enormous clouds for heavier users. The replaceable 18650 battery system averages over 60 minutes of constant usage, which makes it a great vaporizer for extended days.
The battery life is great with the IQ two but the biggest downside to this Davinci IQ two vaporizer is the battery charging system.
Yes, it supplies a replaceable battery system and superb battery life per full charge, BUT it requires roughly 6 hours to charge a dead battery inside the device.
There are 3rd party external battery chargers such as the Nitecore i2, which will cut the charging time in half, but it’s an extra $20 accessory.
I enjoy using my IQ 2 out on the trails, and again, the majority of vaporents will enjoy with this vaporizer, particularly with your glass pieces. Lastly, the more recent flavor room design makes it a lot easier to wash, and it comes with a 10-year warranty.
Most Portable Vaporizer
Most Mobile Vaporizer
Total Kit w/ Concentrate Insert
Pax 3 Updates over the Pax Two Vape comprise:
The Pax 3 features many internal changes while maintaining the exact same dimensions and only adding 3 grams to the overall weight.
The option to vape both dry herbs and concentrates using the newest concentrate insert.
The Pax 3 also uses an upgraded 3500mAh battery vs. a 3000mAh on the Pax 2.
Pre-heat times for the Pax 3 currently average between 15-20 seconds, whereas the Pax 2 is about 45 minutes.
You also get haptic feedback, and last, that the Pax Vapor APP is live. The Pax 3 Vapor APP will give you full control over the temp spectrum (360F-420F) with options to pick different heat profiles.
Within the app (Android Only), you can even alter color topics, lock the apparatus, dim the LED, or lock it.
The Pax 3 vaporizer is the hottest portable vaporizer for mountain biking, hiking, and most of my summer activities. It’s easy to pocket and readily hidden, which makes it the perfect vaporizer for use on the go. It’s also among the most durable vaporizers that I ‘ve tested. If you just knew the number of times I’ve dropped this thing, poor guy.
Appearances wise, PaxVapor changed the outer shell out of a brushed aluminum (Pax 2) into a polished finish (Pax 3). So far, the glistening surface is holding up pretty well but will be more vulnerable to fingerprints and scratches.
I’m enjoying the focus insert, but I don’t find it replacing anybody ‘s dab rig or e-nail. It can extract the substances very well without producing a big mess, but it doesn’t get anywhere near as sexy as conventional procedures.
The Pax 3 Complete Kit comes with everything you want to vape dry herbs and concentrates. The Basic Kit includes everything for DRY HERBS ONLY. Click here for my full pax 3 review.
Bottom Line: The Pax 3 is about as good as it gets for a portable vaporizer when considering battery life, portability, durability, and overall ease of use. The new Half-Pack lid is an excellent feature for single individual sessions. You no longer have to buy third party accessories to optimize efficacy, and the focus fit gives a perfect option to use materials aside from dry herb.
Best Battery Life
Greatest Battery Life
Price: $296 w/ Code S&B15
The Mighty is the bigger brother of this smaller Crafty mobile vaporizer, and although it’s not the smallest vaporizer, it comes with some pretty great capabilities.
The Mighty currently has the best battery life in the market per full charge. The battery will easily last a full day of biking, hiking, or enjoying an outdoor concert. I average between 6-8 sessions on a full charge, and the unit will fully charge in approximately 90 minutes.
Next, the Mighty includes an on vape, easy-to-read, LED display, and easy-to-use temp buttons located on each side. The complete temp spectrum ranges from 105F-410F.
Although the Mighty is somewhat large for the pockets, the extra size and weight make it extremely easy to pass around and use in class scenarios. The Mighty is among the best vaporizers for dry herb, especiallyif you don’t mind the dimensions.
The only downsides to the unit will be the overall dimensions and weight. It CAN be pocketed if desired, but it’s pretty bulky in the jeans. The Mighty will match better in a handbag, hoodie, or back pack.
Best Mobile Vaporizers Under $200
Greatest Under $200
I know I’ve already recorded the “Pax 3 Complete Kit” over as the most mobile vaporizer, but the “Pax 3 Fundamental Kit” is your thing to do if you’re trying to remain under $200.
You get all that comes with the Pax 3 complete kit but for the concentrate insert, the half-pack lid, and a few additional displays. If you’re not going to be using concentrates and only planning on sticking with dry herb, this kit is perfect for you.
You still get the 10-year warranty, the 25-second average heat up time, Bluetooth, haptic feedback, and full control using the pax vapor program (if you have an android phone). It’s exactly the same apparatus minus the fit for concentrates along with the half-pack lid.
The only thing you can’t get with the basic kit is the glossy finish. I like the matte end anyway, so that’s not a huge deal to me. The matte finish doesn’t reveal scratches or fingerprints as quickly.
Best Under $200 Alt
The following option in the best vape under $200 category is that the Arizer Solo 2 and it retails for $175. The Solo 2 contains nearly 3 hours of battery lifetime, a complete temp spectrum, and one of the most reliable portable vaporizers on the market.
The 20-second heat-up time around the Solo 2 is one of my favourite features. I also really like the screen, and also the temp buttons are easy to use.
I both love and hate the glass stem since I’m generally out and about with my vaporizers. So a glass stalk is equally dangerous to be in a pocket and not easy to hide, especially while mountain biking or skiing, but the flavor you get from the all-glass vapor route is phenomenal.
That said, I prefer to use the Solo 2 in home the most and particularly using a water pipe adapter and a few glass.
The Solo 2 kicks out massive clouds and is the perfect vaporizer to deliver over to a friend ‘s house or just chill and sit whilst watching Netflix. You may use it while it’s plugged in and never run out of battery life.
Last, the Solo 2 comes with a lifetime guarantee to the heating element, a 2-Year guarantee against defects, along with a 1-Year guarantee on the battery. Besides the glass stem, this is one of the most durable portable vaporizers you can own, and it will last a lifetime.
Greatest Dry Herb Portables Under $150
For More Alternatives: Leading Mobile Vaporizers under $150
Greatest Under $150
The Fury Edge is a portable dry herb vaporizer made by Healthy Rips and ranked as the best portable vaporizer under $150.
The Edge features a hybrid (conduction and convection) heating system, a full temperature spectrum (320F to 430F), 20-second heat-up time, and 70-90 moments of ordinary continuous use.
The Fury Edge employs a medical-grade stainless steel chamber, and vapor path, which can be completely isolated from electronics. I prefer the Edge over the rest of the portable vaporizers within this price range because of the free-flowing draw, powerful heater, and rapid charging via USB-C. A characteristic most mobile vaporizers within this cost range don’t offer.
My only complaint with the Fury Edge would be that it doesn’t use a replaceable battery program. But the 2300mAh battery offers plenty of battery life considering how small and pocket friendly that this vaporizer is.
Last, Healthy Rips offers a free one-time replacement warranty and 1/2 cost replacements for life, but that I doubt you’ll need either because this vaporizer is a monster.
Greatest Under $150 Alt
The Pax two received a price fall from $199 to $149 with all the Pax 3 Kits release. The Pax 2 is your second-best portable vaporizer under $150 and among the most used vaporizers of my entire collection.
I utilize the Pax vaporizers most for outdoor activities because the rugged outer shell keeps it safe from the oops moments. They’re easy to use but do need a nice grind and normal cleaning for the very best results.
If you would like ‘t already have the Pax 2 and searching for an upgrade, go straight for the Pax 3. The faster pre-heat time, better battery life, concentrate insert, and access to the program via Bluetooth (android only) create the $100 price difference worth it.
If you presently have a Pax 2 and you’re looking to update to the 3, consider picking up the concentrate insert ($50) and also the half-pack lid ($13).
The Concentrate Insert IS synonymous with all the Pax 2. Granted, you’re missing out on the app and the rapid heat-up times, but they do function quite similarly, and you can spend a bit less money.

Greatest Under $100
The Planet of this Vapes One Vaporizer features:
Full temp spectrum with on vape screen
Isolated vapor path
Really low draw resistance
Durable with a good guarantee
Extremely strong for its size
Overall the POTV One vape can meet everyone including heavier daily users or novice occasional customers. The only downside to this device is battery life per full charge but because of its dimensions, it’s actually pretty decent.
Best Under $100 Alt
The CF vaporizer features a fast heat-up time but only five preset temps and no display.
The CF is straightforward to use, functions nicely with varying load dimensions and kicks out a few pretty good vapor quality. I would honestly say it’s the best tasting vaporizer for under $100 supporting the POTV ONE. The lack of a full temp spectrum doesn’t make a difference because the default temps pretty much pay for the scope.
It feels and looks like the OG Crafty vaporizer but falls short in the vapor quality category. It’s easy to pocket, quite mild, and nearly small enough to completely palm.
The XMAX Starry is the perfect vaporizer for someone just entering the vape market. You receive an entire temp spectrum, a replaceable battery system, it’s lightweight and simple to pocket to be used on the go.
The vapor quality is middle of the street for a pure conduction vaporizer, along with the draw resistance is pretty good. The 1 thing I don’t actually like about it is how short the vapor route is. The vapor could be quite hot with prolonged sessions or when using with more than 1 individual.
I favor the POTV One over the XMAX Starry however, the Starry vaporizer does feature replaceable batteries.
Best Cheap Vaporizer
The Davinci Miqro features:
Replaceable Battery System
Complete Temp Spectrum
2 Mouthpieces (one recessed and one that doubles as a 10mm water heater adapter)
The smallest battery-powered vaporizer that I have ever tested
I’ve been using the Miqro most during mountain biking, hiking, and nights out on the town because it’s easily pocketable, simple to use, and easy to load.
It’s not going to be the best vaporizer for large groups or heavier users due to the battery life. However, each battery will get you about 30 minutes of average battery life. So, three, 10-minute sessions.
If you believe you’ll be using it in groups or on a heavy daily basis, you may want to consider updating into the Davinci IQ 2, which is listed above.
Best Cheap Vaporizer Alt
The best cheap butane powered would be your Dynavap VapCap M 2021 for $75. This vape does require a torch or milder, so it may not be for everyone or every situation, but it’s incredibly reliable and consistent.
Never rely on a battery again.
Greatest Butane Vaporizer
The Sticky Brick vaporizers are just what the name suggests. They’re wood bricks which link via magnets (tacky ) and use a butane torch to generate on-demand convection heatingsystem. The Sticky Brick butane vaporizers are some of the most effective vaporizers presently available on the market, plus they are hand-made in the USA from natural hardwood.
The first butane vaporizer made by Sticky Brick is the Original or OG and it retails for $149. I believe the Sticky Brick OG a home-use mobile vaporizer since it’s not likely to fit in your pocket.
I also find the Sticky Brick OG the easiest to use of the Sticky Brick vaporizers because you receive instant clear comments as vapor forms from the glass mouthpiece. The vapor quality is excellent, and it functions really well with varying load sizes.
The wood finish is very smooth, distinctive and all the bits fit together beautifully. Sticky Brick Vaporizers additionally come with a lifetime guarantee to the wood body and 15 days on the glass pieces.
Greatest Butane Vaporizers Alt
Dynavap makes the following butane vaporizer I recommend, and it’s known as the VapCap M. I’ve already mentioned it a few times in this report. Still, if you wanted the absolute best cheapest butane vaporizer, I recommend that the 2021 Vapcap M for $75. The Vapcap M is honestly among the best vaporizers you may get to your money if you would like ‘t mind working with a butane torch.

I really do believe that some of these vaporizers could be someone’s favorite. It’s very important to know that not everybody will have exactly the same opinion on the best vaporizer. It ultimately depends on your specific situation.
That said, I think the Crafty Plus and the Mighty are now the greatest overall portable vaporizers on the market for most people because of their simplicity of use and consistency. The best vaporizer to the person who wants rechargeable batteries would be the Davinci IQ two, and the very best vaporizer for your stealth user always on the move is the Pax 3.
